Bobtails always provide a wide range of fun, hands-on activities that encourage learning through play, and my daughter genuinely looks forward to going. She regularly comes home talking about what she has done and showing us things she has learnt, which is so reassuring as a parent and really shows the impact the playgroup is having.
The variety of activities on offer has supported her development massively, particularly in her social skills and curiosity. We have also been extremely grateful for the support they offered with toilet training, which was handled in such a positive and encouraging way. The staff are caring, supportive and clearly passionate about what they do. We feel very lucky to have Bobtails Playgroup and would highly recommend it to other families

Both my daughter and son have attended Bobtails, with my son currently attending. He has settled in incredibly well, and since starting his speech has improved hugely. The support they’ve given me with potty training has been amazing! All of the staff at Bobtails make me feel completely comfortable leaving him in their care. “We've been so lucky to have found Bobtails Nursery for our son Jesse. From the moment he started, the team has been absolutely outstanding in both caring for him and helping him grow.
What stands out most is how they've gone above and beyond to support his speech development. They've provided dedicated one-on-one speech therapy sessions, and the progress he's made has been incredible—he's come on in leaps and bounds! It's clear they truly listen to each child's needs and tailor their approach accordingly.
Jesse has also made so many lovely friends and genuinely looks forward to going every day—he talks about his teachers and the fun activities non-stop. The staff are all incredibly kind, helpful, friendly, and approachable, which makes dropping him off (and picking him up!) a real pleasure.

“Arthur has been attending Bobtails since September. He absolutely loves it and runs in so excited in the mornings.
The staff are so lovely and caring and always available to speak to in person or on class dojo. They post regular updates on class dojo and tapestry.
Arthur's speech has come a long way since attending. Lisa arranged for us to have a story pack to take home with us which Arthur loved with finger puppets to help with his speech. He regularly comes home with a new book to read and is now saying 3-4 word sentences and lots more words. Lisa also sent lots of helpful resources to start potty training.
Arthur has also learnt how to drink out of a cup and wash his hands. He has learnt how to run, jump and his balance has improved. He is also learning to share and play with other children.
Bobtails are a lovely, nurturing pre school and we're very happy Arthur attends there”.

“My daughter started Bobtails in September 2025 and she has flourished in the time she has been there. She goes in confidently and happily everyday she attends and I know that she is well looked after and given the opportunity to be involved in lots of different activities throughout the day which help her learn and develop. The communication from Bobtails is excellent with parents, there are weekly updates for the whole preschool and also personalised ones for my daughter on Tapestry. I get feedback on her areas of strength and areas for improvement. The staff go above and beyond to give the children fantastic opportunities such as the Christmas party and my daughter comes home with seasonal activities and lots of lovely work to show me at the end of a term. I am very happy with the care and attention my daughter receives at Bobtails.”

“I would highly recommend Bobtails to anyone in need of a playgroup for their child/children. Every single member of staff there is brilliant, very attentative and very friendly. They have loads of books, toys and other activities to play with and learn about. They have themed indoor and outdoor activities and have gone over and above to make sure the children have suitable and varied outdoor spaces to play in.
All three of our children have gone there and have all loved it. Our youngest still goes there and has a great time, and our two oldest kids still talk about how much fun they had there”.
